Halloween Black Cat Monogram

Supplies

Unfinished Wood Co. 20″ Cat Monogram

FolkArt Acrylic Paint – Licorice, Wicker White, Citrus Green

Brushes: 1″ flat, #4 flat

Hot glue gun

3 black pipe cleaners

Small wooden heart

Painter’s tape

Green glitter scrapbook paper

     TIP: For best results, let paint dry between steps.

1.Paint monogram with Citrus Green.

2.Apply painter’s tape to monogram to create stripes of desired thickness.

3.Paint over tape with Wicker White to create stripes; let paint dry a few minutes and remove tape.

4.Paint cat and wooden heart with Licorice.

5.Cut glitter paper ½” bigger than eyes and attach to back of cat using hot glue.

6.Bend pipe cleaners in half to create whiskers. Use hot glue to attach whiskers, then heart to cat’s face.
