{DIY} Glitter LOVE Frame

Look how cute these glitter letters from Hobby Lobby are! We added them to a freshly painted and slightly distressed frame (unfinished frame also from Hobby Lobby). We’re going to show you how to {Do it Yourself}.

Supplies Needed:

• Acrylic Paint:
– Licorice Black
– Calypso Sky Blue
• Glitter letters L, O, V, E
• 1″ Flat brush
• Satin spray varnish
• Masking tape (low tack) 
• Large wood frame
• Piece of wax (old candle)
• Sandpaper
• Paper plate  

Instructions:

1. Basecoat frame Calypso Sky blue, let dry.
2. Rub wax on all edges of frame.
3. Paint the entire frame Licorice black, paint over the wax areas. Let dry.
4. Sand the entire frame and you will see that the waxed areas sand best, creating a distressed finish.
5. Varnish with Satin.
5. Glue on glitter letters as shown.
